Hey, Guys~
Korean Folk Villag e is one of the famous tourist sites for a better understanding of the lifestyle and customs of the past Korean generations in the Joseon Dynasty .
I'm back again with my new post about Korean Folk Village 한국민속촌 located in Yongin province.
It is located in Yong-in, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Since we stayed so close to Yongin province, my friends and I decided to have a trip at the Korean Folk Village. So, we picked a beautiful day to visit the village.
Luckily, there was not that many tourists as we thought, and surprisingly, I find more local tourists than foreign.
Well, it seemed like not only tourists, even local people love coming here for leisure~
The entrance of the M insuk Korean Village. The entrance fee was around KRW 15000.

The village was divided into few sections , which were market village, folk village, bazaar and play village.
There were many performances like traditional ceremonies and dance performances everyday at different time!
You can never miss the chance to see the performance!
Rows of traditional clay pots placed in the village.
In the past, Koreans made delicious soybean sauce ( 된장), hot pepper sauce ( 고추장) and kimch i ( 김치 ) by storing the paste in the pot for the fermentation process s .

Traditional Korean stoves used for cooking..
Okay, the lid of the pot was damn heavy, I thought it was glued with the pot~lol
Probably it was not a public holiday or weekends, so there were only few food stalls opened on that day... Too bad.
But there was a canteen there, we ordered our lunch there!

Really love the design of Hanok (한옥), which means the Korean traditional houses.
Can I live there? geh geh geh...
Can you see those thatched roof houses behind me?
In the past, lower-class people like peasants live in there.. Different types of houses represent different class and status in ancient Korea.
Catch me if you can (((┏(; ̄▽ ̄) ┛

Actually, hanok village was also a famous place where a host of movies and drama were filmed. For example, dramas like "My love from another Star", "Sungkyunkwan Scandal ", " Moon Embracing the Sun","The fugitive of Joseon" and others..
Guess which scene we were shooting ~
Taking photos with love ~ (ღˇ◡ˇ*) ♡
Walked around with these pretties ~
Art? haha
Every corner was art~
Me: "품남이 ~ hand~!"
품남이: " ....................."
It was really pretty, wasn't it~? Really a good shooting place, hehe ..
Before we left the village, we made our own wishes and tied in on the rope.
It was a common sight in ancient Ko rea that people tie their messages and wishes onto the rock.
If you love Korea's culture and history, please pay a visit there!
See you next time :D
