Myeong Dong Galguksu 明洞餃子 (명동교자)

Hello~, how was your day?

Today I'm going to review galkusu noodles (칼국수) I tried when I travelled in South Korea.

One of the famous and delicious one was 명동교자 ( Myeong Dong Galguksu), obviously located at Myeong Dong.. haha

Actually the restaurant itself is not obvious compared to other shops as there are so many cosmetics shops with colourful LED sign board.

There are two Myeong Dong Gyoja at Myeong Dong, one is the main restaurant and another one is the branch restaurant.

I usually have it at the main restaurant. It is always filled with local customers and tourists though ><

Well,  you will be given a mint candy when you come to your seat~ It is to freshen your mouth as the kimchi sidedish has garlic in it.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of garlic.. But still, I tried the spicy kimchi ~

i find that it tasted really different from the usual kimchi served at other Korean restaurants. I think it is because the combination of garlic and hot pepper with kimchi. You will know when you try it yourself!

Basically, the restaurant serves galkusu noodles, dumplings, mix noodles, and bean noodles! Actually, I only tried their galkusu noodles before~ I will try their dumplings next time because I saw many customers eat galkusu with dumplings~~

Tada

The famous galkusu noodles! Can you see how big bowl it is?
I will never forget the soft and smooth texture of the noodles inside my mouth! Chewy too
The chicken broth is said to be the best around the town!

Also, you can refill the noodles and soup if you want to eat more!! Isn't it worth?

I love their service too! Quick and efficient!

Even though there are many customers everyday, the staffs make sure you get your order as soon as possible~

People who hate waiting in the queue and slow serving can try out this restaurant too!

Besides that, the restaurant also provides a takeout service so you can enjoy anywhere and anytime~
